Samsung LogoThe availability of the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has been officially announced by the company in Canada. The smartphone which was spotted Best Buy Canada for pre-order a couple of days ago is priced at $400 (Contract) or $900 (Outright). The Android powered Samsung phablet will go on sale on 18th February 2015. The Charcoal Black variant of this Galaxy Note Edge will be officially sold by Bell and Rogers. We have always loved curved types of smartphones and now this 5.6 inch phablet is going to change the market.

We personally feel that the Galaxy Note Edge is one of our most unique and innovative smartphone designs till date. The Unique Selling Point (USP) of the Galaxy Note Edge is the curved display which is present on its right edge. The Samsung Galaxy Note sports a 5.6 inch Super AMOLED display screen with a screen resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, 16MP primary camera, 3.7MP secondary camera. On the hardware front, the device has been decked with a 2.7GHz Quad-Core Processor, Snapdragon 805 and an Adreno 420 GPU. Apart from having 3GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage, the storage space can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. The Galaxy Note Edge will be running Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS out-of-the-box.
