Vivo X5 Max with 1080p AMOLED goes official

Vivo X5 MaxVivo has officially launched the X5 Max which is the thinnest smartphone in the world having a size of 4.75mm which is achieved with the help of one the thinnest screens that measures just 1.36mm thick. Apart from sporting a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED 1080p display screen and Dual-SIM facility, the Vivo X5 Max houses a 1.7 GHz Quad-Core Cortex-A53 and 1.0 GHz Quad-Core Cortex-A53 64-bit CPU that is backed by 2GB of RAM.

The X5 Max also has 16GB of internal storage, a 13MP primary camera with Auto-Focus and Led Flash, a 5MP secondary camera and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The device is decked up with the full connectivity feature package that includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPRS, 2G, 3G and even GPS.

The Vivo X5 Max runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat based FunTouch 2.0 OS. The company has decided to start selling the smartphone from 22nd December 2014 onwards at CNY 2,998/- which is approximately USD 485/-.
