Nokia N1 launches on 7 January 2015 in China

Nokia N1Almost a month ago, Nokia announced their first ever Android OS running tablet which would be called the N1. We were fortunate to be one of the few to receive pricing and specification information then along with an approximate release time frame of “Q1 2015”.

If you have not heard about this tablet, the Nokia N1 sports a 7.9 inch display screen with a screen resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. Apart from being decked with a 8MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary camera, the N1 is powered by a 2.3GHz Quad-Core Intel Atom Z3580 CPU backed by 2GB of RAM. Deep inside is a provision for 32GB of storage and a 5300 mAh battery. The Nokia N1 will b e purely running Android 5.0 Lollipop with the Z Launcher alongside.

China has managed to draw out a release date for the N1 which is 7th January 2015. According to source which is in Chinese and the translation is not perfect, we can not say whether they meant that they will be able to purchase the tablet our it is an official date for an official introduction on the Chinese market. The actual price of the N1 has not been leaked and we presume that it would cost somewhere around $250.
