Amanda Crasto says;

The Xiaomi Redmi 1S was recommended to me by a very close friend of mine. When I made an online search and checked the features of the smartphone, I was shocked. seeing that the device has so many good features and the price compared to other phones was just less. I opted for this smartphone because it was a competitor of the iPhone in terms of video recording and selfies . Frankly speaking, I was a little bit scared while ordering the Redmi 1S at first because it was not a smartphonethat was popular. I also head that it got sold within 2.4 seconds on Flipkart. All my friends were like “why to take risk by buying this phone it does not even have a service centre in Goa” . One thing that I would feel Xiaomi should have done is also provided earphones (increased the price a bit) as now I have to search good earphones that would match the quality of sound that I would like to hear. The 8MP primary camera and the 1.6MP secondary camera has really caught my attention with the price.The company has tried to put all the new features of various brands like Samsung, Sony and the iPhone, all in one phone and made it affordable for the “common man”. I would have loved to buy Xiaomi Mi3 (Rs.13,999/-) but the price of the Redmi 1S has just flipped my choice.
Apart from the current device that I use which was purchased on Flipkart, if I had a larger budget of Rs.20,000/- I would have purchased the Sony Xperia Z2 as it has a 20.7MP primary camera with 4K video quality and recording. I personally feel that it has captured the market. On the tablet front, the iPad Air (9.7 inch) being light weight and seemingly fast would be another option. Android One devices which were introduced by brands like Micromax,Karbonn and Spice are also doing well.

Android Music Players – The best of the best

I am a big Android fan and I make no bones about it. This is why I am very happy whenever I meet an Apple-to-Android convert.
