The global smartphone shipments for Q2 2014 has reached a whopping 295.2 million units compared to 27% more than the same period last year when 233.0 million units were shipped across the globe. Out of those, 84.6% (249.6 million) were Android smartphones up from 80.2% during Q2 2013.
