Samsung might borrow a page from Sony’s handbook
As the demand for a high premium mobile flagship device rises, manufacturers look to put in their best and release devices with top of the line features, body and much more. That pretty much seems to be the case with the World’s Largest Phone manufacturer Samsung. Samsung is currently working on their next Galaxy device. It is obviously the most awaited device of the year 2014. Samsung wants to get pretty much everything right about the Samsung Galaxy S5 due to the high expectations set by the consumers.
New rumors straight out from the home base of Samsung, South Korea indicates that the next Galaxy flagship which is supposed to be called the Samsung Galaxy S5 will sport a totally dust and water resistant body. This is not new on a flagship as we have seen manufacturers like Sony doing the same on their high end offerings. This move is paying off quite well for Sony as it saw record sales this year. A water and dust proof body will help Samsung to stay ahead at all fronts.
Samsung launched variants of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and one of them is the Galaxy S4 Active which was a heavy-duty version of the flagship that was both dust and water resistant. Interestingly, the Active was very popular and performed really well under real world usage. So, we feel that Samsung will incorporate all these features in a single device instead of releasing a variant of the same.
