Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids
Firstly, we wish all our younger generation readers a very “Happy Children’s Day“.
Samsung recently announced a tablet specially designed for the younger generation specially children, called the Galaxy Tab 3 Kids. We are sure most of our readers never head about this Tab but this is the best Tab available for children in the market. This Tab is currently only available in Australia.
There is a special Kids Mode for children which then provides the users a special unique service called Kids Store.The Galaxy Tab 3 comes pre-loaded with a number of children’s content including games, education, e-books and a good bunch of entertainment apps.
A Samsung executive quoted “Galaxy Tab 3 Kids is an exciting addition to the Samsung Galaxy brand of mobile devices as it’s the first of its kind that we have offered in Australia. It offers something for children as well as parents that make it an ideal tablet for huge families. Research has shown that children influence tablet adoption in Australian homes so we feel it is important to offer devices and content that can offer experiences for different age groups.“
At the center of the device sits the large 7 inch screen having a resolution as 1024 x 768 pixels. Powering the Tab is a zippy 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and has 1 GB of RAM. The Tab comes only in yellow with an additional orange bumper case to protect it from falls and provide a better grip. The Tab comes only in one model that is the 8GB internal memory which is expandable with the help of the microSD slot. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with a specially designed Samsung overlay on top. The rear camera is just 3 MP while the front facer is 1.3 MP. The device weighs in at 302 g which by no means is feather weight. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids will be available in Australia in mid November 2013 and is priced a competitive $299.
