HTC One Android 4.4 update coming to EMEA region in January 2014

We extend our thanks to NDTV Gadgets for sharing that the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the HTC One is coming to EMEA region in January 2014. HTC was one of the first Android smartphone makers to announce Android 4.4 KitKat roll-out plans for the HTC One. HTC has detailed plans for the HTC One Android 4.4 KitKat update for the EMEA region which includes European, Middle Eastern and African countries.

According to Android Community, HTC will be rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat update for the European, Middle Eastern and African countries from the end of January 2014 and the Play Edition of the HTC One will be receiving the update in this year 2013 itself. The HTC One Play Edition is expected to receive Android 4.4 KitKat update commencing from the end of November 2013 even though there is nothing made clear about Android 4.4 KitKat update for HTC One Max and One Mini.
