AT&T starts rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat update for Moto X

All customers who have an AT&T Moto X began to receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update today and this latest update includes key enhancements to the user interface,  focus and exposure, phone dialer app and the gallery apps:

The Android 4.4 KitKat update includes various improvements and enhancements such as restyled status and navigation bars, a new full-screen mode, color emoji support (smileys), an improved closed captioning support, stronger security and to top it up even smarter power use. The phone app now includes the ability to look up contacts directly from the dial pad, view and tap frequent contacts and even search corporate directories with ease.

The new photo editing options are now available in the Gallery app which includes new filter effects, drawing on photos, advanced cropping and even adjustments for exposure, color, contrast and a lot more. In order to carry out this update and installation successfully, we recommend the Android device has at least a 70% charged battery.
