Google Open Project beams Android apps to any Net-connected display
Google wants to transform any web-connected screen into a public display and make it compatible for Android smartphones or tablets. Recently , the Google Research published information about Open Project screen-sharing technology. The Google Open Project relies on the Android device’s camera and a little magic ( server-side ) to bring the Android smartphone and tablet apps to the big screen.
The Google Open Project can also handle and take in Multi-User Touch interaction if the user is using a touch-enabled display. Imagine by taking into consideration , instead of trying to figure out level 90 of Candy Crush Saga alone on the Samsung Galaxy S4 , you could let all your friends try to pass the level using a 26-inch display screen which might been very cool and wide.
From the looks of it, The Google Open Project is not as robust as other related technology but remember that Open Project is in its very initial stages of development and is still only a research project at this point. Have a look at the video below as it seems pretty interesting and worth a view.
