Minuum is now available on the Google Play Store and can be accessed and downloaded by anyone. It is a worthwhile Android app to use as it comes in handy and works fine. Minuum keyboard for Android smartphones was not good at first but the company has spent a lot of time working with their group of initial supporters to make the product better.Re-architecting and re-making the  Minuum’s software and making its underlying algorithms run better are the changes that will be invisible to our user group, but here are some features you will notice in the public beta release as provided by a known source :

1. Expansion to full-sized keyboard :
Many people have been attracted to Minuum’s minimalism in its one-dimensional incarnation and many have also expressed a desire for the option to switch into a full-sized keyboard on occasion. The company has met many requests by allowing users to switch between linear and full-sized modes when they really want it and is especially useful for entering URLs and passwords whenever needed.

2. Voice typing :
Another popular request from our beta testers is for hands-free text entry which enables them to type in between performing other activities. This is going to prove easiness as Minuum users can now experience this voice-to-text capability via Google Voice Typing.

3. Alternative alphabet arrangements :
Users can now choose from different keyboard layouts such as AZERTY instead of always getting stuck to the QWERTY arrangement. This enhanced feature based on Minuum’s capability to provide custom layouts and moreover addresses the needs of our international user base and as a matter of fact a large portion of which does not use the standard English-language layout.

4. Better access to punctuation :
The company has optimized their punctuation arrangement to reflect more common usage and they have added additional punctuation to their full keyboard punctuation mode. Users can now activate double-spacing for convenient access to common punctuations like (!,.?).

All of the above comes in handy many times but the company is not yet full done and will update the app with better features in the future. You could get used to what they offer as of now and later update the app when the release is out. We have provided a good video that could be viewed for better understanding of what the Android app is all about.
