Google Play Music All Access rumoured to launch in Canada
The Google Play Music All Access is expected to launch in Canada by the end of this month ( August 2013 ). In May , at Google I/O 2013 , the radio service was launched and was limited only to residents of the US. Even then , it showcased a launch in certain countries like Australia and the UK , but Canadians have no power to access the $9.99 per month plan.
Sony Music Canada was approached by Google and negotiations by Google has set to change the path for good. Previously , there was the holdover preventing the Canadian launch. As for the prices , it will remain the basic $9.99 per month as keeping it at the same will give Google a chance to compete with Slacker Radio and Rdio.
Google will begin selling Play Store Gift Cards in retail stores soon as reported by source which will include popular stores like Specifically, Shoppers Drug Mart and all other ones throughout Canada will begin selling them in various increments. As of now , we would like you to just consider all of this as a rumour until we dig more deeper into this ( Google Play Music All Access ) aspect. Please note that users outside certain countries will not be able to get any information on the Google Play Store about it due to restrictions.
