Google loses Hugo Barra to China’s Xiaomi

This is the second time in this year where Android has suffered a major executive loss and the name linked to this loss is Hugo Barra. We presume that he has left because he would want to push up the Chinese Xiaomi to greater heights. Hugo Barra ( Vice President of Product Management of Android ) has officially left Google for Xiaomi as this was reported by various sources and the first one to do so is AllTHingsD.

Basically, Hugo Barra was the public face for Android in demonstrating new Android devices such as the July 2013 debut of the second Nexus 7 tablet throughout his five years at the company. He has had fruitful years at the company and has experienced and learnt a lot that he can pass down to future generations. It is also said that he will be missed very much be executives at the company.

According to the source ,  Barra’s resignation is rumored to have occurred before he ended a relationship with a Google employee who is reportedly now dating the company’s co-founder Sergey Brin. Nothing is confirmed of the same so stay where you are and get updated here in time.
