Google Inc’s Android which is the number one OS and the dominant mobile operating system is considered as a primary target for malware attacks and this is mostly because many users are still using older versions of the software as per reports which can be viewed on source. If a comparison is drawn out , about 19% of malware attacks were targeted at Nokia’s Symbian system and less than 1% each at Apple Inc’s iOS software, BlackBerry Ltd and Windows by Microsoft Corp’s.

Android continues to be a primary target for malware attacks and intrusions due to its market share and open source architecture said as per studies to various people from different walks of life.
