Android apps are running into millions on the Google Play Store and Android developers are making a living by this. There are many educative as well as good social apps in the App Market which influence students to a great extent. Recently , we have picked up from a known source that Indian schools students are going to design Android apps.

IFA

School students in the age group of 10-13 years will design mobile applications on Android platform in a countrywide contest and there will be a rigorous set of competitions in depth. Vipul Redey comments a lot on this topic in Bangalore on Saturday.

Vipul Redey ( Chief Product Officer of Global Discovery Academy ) says ;

Students from schools across the country will participate in the first all-India Android mobile applications design competition. We believe in leveraging technology as a tool to enhance conventional teaching and encourage students to develop ideas , explore and learn through exposure than rote-learning. Selected finalists will present the app idea and prototype at a special event in New Delhi and winners will be decided by a panel of judges on basis of effectiveness and creativity of the app and ease of its use ( user-friendliness).
